WHEREAS, the UIC student body experiences a great amount of stress, especially during midterms and
the last month of school; and
WHEREAS, students would benefit from activities and events that could potentially lower levels of
stress and increase productivity; then
LET IT BE RESOLVED, the Undergraduate Student Government shall host a series of events titled,
“UIC Mental Health Week,” where we will host an event for every weekday of the week to alleviate
levels of stress amongst the student body and provide activities and events to benefit students’ mental
well beings.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, these events will take place from Monday, April 17, 2023, to
Friday, April 7, 2023.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, the events shall be outlined in the document attached to the
resolution: ( Mental Health Week Outline ).
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, the events shall cost a total of [insert cost here], where all costs are
outlined in the spreadsheet attached ( Mental Health Week Funds ).
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, all unspent funds and materials shall go back to the USG budget.
