Mental Health Town Hall

WHEREAS, the Undergraduate Student Government seeks to promote mental health resources and
encourages transparency between administration and the undergraduate student body; and
WHEREAS, there is a lack of transparency regarding mental health resources and budget allocation for
student wellness and mental health; and
WHEREAS, a town hall allows students to face administrators transparently and allows students to ask
their questions face to face; then,
LET IT BE RESOLVED, the Undergraduate Student Government will host a Mental Health Town Hall
on April 17th from 3-5 pm in Student Center East Room 302 to aid in increasing and ensuring transparency
between the undergraduate student body and the administration of UIC.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, the Undergraduate Student Government will allocate $550 for the
purchase and delivery of the following items:
1x order of Assorted Cookies - 28.00 per platter
1x order of Brownies - 28.00 per platter
3x order of Donuts - 24.00 per dozen
Fruit Bowl (ordered for 15 persons) - 4.00 per person
2x order of Lemonade - 9.00 per gallon

2x order of Iced Tea - 9.00 per gallon
1x order of Coffee - 14.50 per gallon
Room Reservation fee including cost for projector and standing microphones - 88.00
Advertising: Poster Board to direct people to Room 302 in SCE ~ $80.00 (Cost is not confirmed need to
confirm with Creative and Digital Services; this is the allocated estimation of cost)
20x order of Flyer for physically advertising event in UIC buildings - $40.00

LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, any unspent funds will be returned to the USG budget.
