USG Office Modernization Act of 2023

WHEREAS, the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) office is a space for USG members to
conduct meetings with each other, administrators, and constituents; and,
WHEREAS, the top floor of the USG office is often used for group meetings, such as committee
meetings; and,
WHEREAS, many meetings are conducted in a hybrid fashion with participants joining virtually; and,
WHEREAS, the USG office is in need of technological upgrades to allow for proper and professional
meetings; then,
LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Undergraduate Student Government shall purchase a monitor and
conference devices for better communication between in-person and virtual participants.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that USG shall allocate $1,000 to purchase the following:
I. Monitor: $629.99
II. Monitor Mount: $59.99
III. Conference Package: $299.99
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that any unspent funds shall be returned to the budget.
