Connecting Student Leaders Event

WHEREAS, the Undergraduate Student Government (USG), in following its tenet of service, fosters
student engagement, collaboration, and leadership within itself and across campus; and
WHEREAS, the Undergraduate Student Government seeks to engage student leadership across campus,
having partnered with various student organizations with shared goals and visions; and
WHEREAS, the Undergraduate Student Government has previously held events titled “Connecting
Student Leaders” (Res. 2021-F10-602; Res. 2022-S6-601; Res. 2023-F6-102l Res. 2024-S6-1011;)
which accomplished the above goals; then
LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Undergraduate Student Government will organize an event, titled
“Connecting Student Leaders,” for leadership of student organizations to network, discuss shared
interests and experiences, and collaborate on future endeavors.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Undergraduate Student Government will allocate $5000
for catering services and other expenses at Pompeii (1531 West Taylor Street, Chicago, IL 60607) or
another venue of PAC’s choosing on Wednesday, November 20th from 6-8pm for this event.
LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, that any unspent funds shall be returned to the USG budget.
