UIC is an HSI Research University that serves 22,000 undergraduate students, 36% of whom are Latine. UIC enrolls and graduates the largest number of Latine students in the state of Illinois. The nonprofit clearly states that “it must be clear that each institution has an environment in which Latine students can thrive.
