Wazeera Shekoni is a freshman majoring in Economics and French & Francophone Studies and serves on the Legislative Affairs Committee. She joined USG to help build a diverse and inclusive campus community while encouraging greater student engagement. Passionate about civic awareness and student advocacy, Wazeera hopes to educate and empower UIC students to become more involved and informed about legislation and voting. With aspirations of becoming a corporate or international lawyer, she’s eager to combine her interests in law, policy, and global studies to make a lasting impact. Fun fact: her favorite ice cream flavor is coffee!
