Mariyah Pickett is a junior majoring in Political Science and a proud member of the Student Success Committee. She joined USG to advocate for the student body through meaningful legislation that reflects and addresses students’ real needs. As a nontraditional student, Mariyah is passionate about improving support systems for her peers and hopes to establish a peer-led program offering guidance and counseling to fellow nontraditional students. Looking ahead, she aspires to become an intellectual property lawyer, helping companies protect their creative work and innovations. Mariyah’s walk-up anthem would be I'm A Boss by Meek Mill and Rick Ross!
