About
Michael Kim is a junior majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Philosophy and is a dedicated member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Motivated by a deep gratitude for the UIC community, Michael joined USG to give back by advocating for initiatives that enhance student academic and mental wellness. With aspirations to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, he hopes to serve underserved communities and contribute to psychiatry and neuroscience research that advances mental health care accessibility. Within USG, Michael aims to develop mental health programs and initiatives that expand therapy accessibility and duration, provide specialized counseling for underrepresented groups, and promote mental health education through workshops and events. Michael’s walk-up anthem would be Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter!
