Shahid Khatib is a third-year student majoring in Public Policy with a minor in Economics. A recent graduate from the College of DuPage, Shahid brings extensive experience in student leadership and a deep passion for public service to USG. Guided by the principles of servant leadership, he believes the best leaders empower others to find their own voices and create meaningful change. Shahid is committed to ensuring every student at UIC feels capable of making a positive impact on their campus and community. This year, he aims to promote professional development opportunities by connecting students with companies and career resources across Chicago. Known for his strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, Shahid strives to bridge gaps between the administration and the student body. A fun fact about Shahid is that he loves Cookies & Cream–flavored sweets!
